Who Am I?

I earned a B.A. in Urban Planning & Sustainable Development from Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment and spent several years working for Washington State’s public sector, including the City of Kent and Kitsap County, where I reviewed zoning, land use, critical‑area, shoreline, and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) permits.

Born and raised in Iowa, I bring a Midwestern work ethic and a lifelong love of rhythm; I am an amateur drummer who enjoys music, good food, and the creative energy they spark. Today I translate my government‑level expertise into actionable strategies for developers, builders, and homeowners eager to unlock the hidden value of ADUs across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
